Why ilike-it

I know, clever right? :) The reason the name of this blog is ilike-it is because many of the other variations in the domain name(subdomain technically) were already taken. So basically, I settled, which I didn't like really, but for all intents and purposes should lead me to my next point, which is why I'm here writing and why(hopefully) you're here reading!

Aside from the fact that writing's always been a passion of mine, I wanted a place where I could just talk about stuff I like. Be they products, concepts, presidential candidates(ok, maybe I won't burden you people with politics), games, movies, music, periodicals, other blogs, or whatever I figured I could just talk about it here and actually contribute something to the internet, aside from the incredibly adorable picture of my pet, Mia. So without further adieu, I will now explain why ilike-it.

I saw your comment on zen habits about the Jimi wallet and I have a question for you. Do you put the wallet in your back pocket? It seems like it would be uncomfortable for guys and or it might break. Any insight?

Hey there PFP, just wanted to let you know that the world ABSOLUTELY needs another blog on personal finance and I'm looking forward to reading your posts :)

LoL, good question! I do at times, but generally I keep it in my front pocket. However, it's very slim(obviously :p) and doesn't really give me any problems whenever I sit or stand. As far as reliability goes, so far I've opened and closed it hundreds of times and it's still sturdy as ever. Even after accidentally sitting on it a few times ;)

Also, on a side note- thank you so much for leaving a comment. I started blogging there at first but it didn't seem like I had any readers, so I just wanted to say I really appreciate you checking out my site :) In truth it's inspired me to jump back into it and give it another shot! I noticed you started a new blog as well recently and I'm looking forward to checking it out! Maybe we could take this opportunity to keep each other in check :-D

Thanks Joshua! I'd love to chat with you about the trials and tribulations of starting up a new blog. I'm nervous to get going because I'm not sure if I like my blog title/moniker and a few other concerns. Email me at leslie.hibbard *at*
